In its second academic year, Mana Contemporary has successfully executed “The Future Art Leaders Program,” a mentorship initiative designed for high school juniors and seniors passionate about the arts. This unique program provides students with the invaluable opportunity to engage in the dynamic environment of an established arts organization, seamlessly integrating museum and gallery settings with artist studios.
Over the past two years, Mana Contemporary has fostered a meaningful collaboration with students from the JC Arts program within Jersey City’s public schools. Participants delve into diverse facets of the Art Business world, acquiring practical knowledge through hands-on experiences, engaging in special projects, embarking on field trips, and benefiting from insightful guest lectures. Beyond academic enrichment, the initiative empowers students with leadership skills crucial for success in artistic careers.
