Nai-Ni Chen (1959–2021), a visionary choreographer and dancer, transcended cultural boundaries with her art. Her unique work, rooted in both her experiences as an immigrant and her deep ties to Asian culture, reflects global influences and current issues. Collaborating with renowned artists such as the Ahn Trio, Glen Velez, and the Chinese Music Ensemble, Nai-Ni Chen created dynamic new works that blended ancient traditions with contemporary themes.
